I love the Pokemon origami paper- how adorable is that? <3 Thanks for the crane, Stephanie! I hope my letter will reach you soon.

After spending the weekend out of town, I came home to find a package waiting with four more paper cranes, which means we've officially reached double digits! These beauties come from Dieuwertje in Germany.
I loved the paper you used for these, Dieuwertje- thanks so much for taking the time to fold them and sending me extra paper!

Telenn- #1-6
Yesterday, I was very excited to receive paper cranes from my first contributor, who happens to be from The Netherlands! Telenn found out about the Paper Cranes Project via a forum post on the postcrossing forums and sent me six wonderful paper cranes after finishing crafting butterflies for the Holocaust Museum. Thanks so much for contributing!
Here's the entire package I received from Telenn:
And here are the cranes!
They're lovely, aren't they? Thanks again, Telenn!

- Paper cranes are welcome from anyone, anywhere.
- You can choose to simply fold and send them, or make them special by leaving your name and country underneath one of the wings. Or whatever else you'd like to do- they are your cranes, after all.
- You can contribute as few as you'd like, but I'd like to set a maximum of 5 cranes per person, so everybody can have a chance at contributing.

The Paper Cranes Project
Hello, everyone!
Welcome to the Paper Cranes Project. My name is Shelby- I'm a 17-year-old nail mail fanatic living in the United States of America, and I have a tendency to come up with completely random ideas in the late hours of night when I should already be well past asleep. One night I had the tale of Sadako and the 1,000 Paper Cranes in my head and a pile of letters on my desk, and I got to thinking. Normally this is a bad idea, but I rather liked the outcome this time.
Hence The Paper Cranes Project, the goal of which is to receive 1,000 paper cranes via snail mail, from people all around the world. If you're interested in contributing, please see the Contributing post.
Thanks for your time and participation!
